NFL Mock Draft 2025: New QB Takeover

The NFL season is almost a month through and we're starting to learn more about the needs of each individual team. The meat of college football schedules has begun and prospects will find more opportunities to show out and improve their 2025 NFL Draft stock against better competition. These are the games that matter to NFL scouts. With more eyes on the draft process than ever before, it's never a bad time to revisit the projected first-round players and see where they might fall.

With scheme fit, personal player evaluation, and conversations within league circles in mind, here is an early look at how things could shape out this April. Please note that the draft order is set using the reverse order of Super Bowl betting odds. Click on each player's name to read their full scouting report.

2025 NFL Mock Draft

1. Carolina Panthers

Cam Ward, QB, Miami

Cam Ward is the leader in the clubhouse for the Heisman trophy and playing like the best quarterback in the country with the talent to match. The Panthers need a reset only two years removed from trading up to get Bryce Young. Dave Canales selects his quarterback.

2. New York Giants

Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

After watching Daniel Jones miss on deep ball after deep ball Thursday night against the Cowboys, the Giants will be resetting at the quarterback position. Shedeur Sanders brings the skill set to execute whatever offense they want to run in New York at a high level. He'll bring a show too.

3. Tennessee Titans

Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

Will Johnson is arguably the best player in the class and pairing him with L'Jarius Sneed would create one of, if not, the best corner duos in the NFL. He would be a great fit in Dennard Wilson's defense.

4. New England Patriots

Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas

Protect the quarterback. The prime objective for the Patriots after seeing what their offensive line has looked like over the first three weeks of the season will be to inject it with top-tier talent to keep the future of their organization upright for years to come.

5. Denver Broncos

Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado

Sean Peyton got his quarterback in Bo Nix and it's time to get him some weapons. Travis Hunter is a unicorn and not just because of the fact that he's a top-two player at wide receiver and corner. He's a special talent and getting Nix this kind of weapon to pair with an aging Courtland Sutton should happen.

6. Las Vegas Raiders

Quinn Ewers, QB, Texas

How could the Raiders not know the Gardner Minshew/Aidan O'Connell experience was a pipe dream? They built the weapons in Las Vegas around a potential quarterback and fill that hole with this pick. Quinn Ewers was playing fantastic football prior to injury and earns this selection.

7. Cleveland Browns

Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama

Cleveland is in a bad spot. They are paying Deshaun Watson his money no matter if he plays or sits on the bench. It's time to start the future now with Jalen Milroe. His dual-threat ability, physical tools, and improved mechanics/decision-making can continue to be honed in a system that will give him easy answers.

8. Jacksonville Jaguars

Will Campbell, OT, LSU

Jacksonville already paid their quarterback, but by this time next year, there could be a whole new staff around Lawrence. Invest in the offensive line and Will Campbell can replace free agent Cam Robinson and be the left tackle for the present and the future.

9. Indianapolis Colts

Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame

Benjamin Morrison has advanced techniques with hand usage, physicality, timing, and football IQ that make him top-1o worthy. The Colts need someone to pair with JuJu Brents on the outside and Morrison fits the bill.

10. Washington Commanders

Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State

The interior defensive line in Washington is stout but they need some help at EDGE to generate more pressure on opposing quarterbacks. Abdul Carter is a top-tier athlete and Dan Quinn would know exactly how to use a player of this caliber.

11. Arizona Cardinals

Mason Graham, IDL, Michigan

Mason Graham is one of the best defensive players in this draft with elite movement skills, hand usage, and power to go with the wide range of ways he can terrorize offensive linemen. He's just the kind of defensive presence the Cardinals need.

12. Miami Dolphins

Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan

Two Michigan players back to back here with the Dolphins needing a tight end that can do everything for their offense and take advantage of the space created by the speed demons on the field. Colston Loveland is that guy. Mike McDaniel continues to double down on getting the ball out quick.

13. Chicago Bears

Donovan Jackson, IOL, Ohio State

Caleb Williams and the run game in Chicago are having a tough time getting off the ground with how poorly the interior offensive line is playing. Donovan Jackson is the best interior player in the draft and immediately upgrades their offensive line.

14. Los Angeles Rams

Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri

Matthew Stafford is entering the twilight of his career but still playing at a high level. The staff continues to get everything they can out of their personnel and with a healthy offensive line will be fighting for the NFC West again. Putting Luther Burden III with Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua is like throwing gasoline on a fire.

15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia

Joe Tryon-Shoyinka is a free agent in 2025 and the Buccaneers need a high-upside edge rusher who can make an impact early and develop into a No. 1 pass rusher. Mykel Williams has all the tools to be that player and Todd Bowles would have a lot of fun with him.

16. Los Angeles Chargers

Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

Tetairoa McMillan in Los Angeles with Justin Herbert would round out the wide receiver room perfectly for the Chargers. He would allow Quentin Johnston to be used more as a move "Z" receiver and yards-after-catch weapon with less outside responsibility. Herbert would love throwing McMillan 50/50 balls, too.

17. Seattle Seahawks

Carson Beck, QB, Georgia

Geno Smith will be a free agent after the 2025 NFL season and will be approaching 36 years old. Carson Beck would get a year to learn from Smith and develop in Ryan Grubb's system. He has the tools to win from the pocket in the NFL and Seattle would be a great place to help him grow.

18. Atlanta Falcons

Jalon Walker, LB/EDGE, Georgia

Rushing the passer has been a problem for the Falcons this season and Jalon Walker has shown a versatility as an off-ball linebacker or pass rusher that would thrive in Raheim Morris' defense run by Jimmy Lake.

19. New Orleans Saints

Emery Jones Jr., OT, LSU

Emory Jones Jr. has all the tools to develop into a top-flight NFL tackle and the Saints could have him start opposite Taliese Fuaga. With Derek Carr under contract through the 2026 season, keeping him upright needs to be the main focus in New Orleans.

20. Pittsburgh Steelers

Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State

With the quarterback situation in Pittsburgh up in the air, rounding out the wide receiver room can help whichever quarterback is the starter. Emeka Egbuka would be a perfect fit in the slot alongside George Pickens on the outside.

21. Cincinnati Bengals

Denzel Burke, CB, Ohio State

Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders "college" offense torched the Bengals' defense last Monday night. Denzel Burke has the versatility, NFL size, and a true NFL frame with length to play in Lou Anarumo's defense.

22. Minnesota Vikings

Walter Nolen, IDL, Ole Miss

Jerry Tillery is playing meaningful snaps in Brian Flores' defense and they need an upgrade to round out the pass rush in the interior. Walter Nolan brings the speed, quickness, and hand usage to upgrade that position for Minnesota immediately.

23. Dallas Cowboys

Deone Walker, IDL, Kentucky

The Cowboys can't stop the run and even though Mazi Smith is starting to show signs of life, they need a big body like Deone Walker to help keep their linebackers clean. He would be a welcome addition to Mike Zimmer and Co.

24. New York Jets

Malaki Starks, SAF, Georgia

An all-around playmaking safety, Malaki Starks would bring the football IQ and instincts to the Jets secondary they are missing on the back end. He can play at every level and has the mentality that Robert Saleh and staff are looking for.

25. Green Bay Packers

Mansoor Delane, CB, Virginia Tech

Eric Stokes and Corey Ballentine are free agents in 2025 for the Packers and Mansoor Delane can play anywhere. He'd be a nice complement opposite Jaire Alexander and has the physicality, size, and instincts to complete the secondary in Green Bay.

26. Houston Texans

Kenneth Grant, IDL, Michigan

Kenneth Grant is a riser in this draft class and brings a unique blend of size and athleticism to the defensive line. Houston has three defensive tackles that will be free agents in 2025. Grant brings a skill set they need along their defensive line.

27. Baltimore Ravens

Aireontae Ersery, OT, Minnesota

To say the offensive line is a problem in Baltimore might be an understatement. Ronnie Stanley hasn't been the same player in recent memory and is a free agent in 2025. Aireontae Ersery is a gifted athlete with great size who can step in and develop into a blindside protector for Lamar Jackson.

28. Detroit Lions

James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Tennessee

Stop me if you've heard this before: Aiden Hutchinson needs help applying pressure to quarterbacks from the other EDGE position in Detroit. James Pearce Jr. has the speed, athleticism, and pass-rush tool bag to help on third downs.

29. Philadelphia Eagles

Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M

The Eagles want to build through the trenches with their high-value picks. With multiple EDGE rushers becoming free agents in 2025, they'll add a 280-pound player who can help against the run right out of the gate and help clean up sacks caused by the quick pressure applied by the talented interior.

30. Buffalo Bills

Isaiah Bond, WR, Texas

Buffalo is following along a similar path to the Chiefs with their offensive rebuild. They brought in Curtis Samuel to give them a speed element, but Isaiah Bond is more than just speed. He'd mesh perfectly with Josh Allen.

31. San Francisco 49ers

Jabbar Muhammad, CB, Oregon

Charvarius Ward is a free agent in 2025 along with Deommodore Lenoir. The 49ers need to upgrade their secondary with young talent and while you may question his size, Jabbar Muhammad plays much bigger and isn't afraid to mix it up with receivers.

32. Kansas City Chiefs

Luke Lachey, TE, Iowa

Travis Kelce is an all-time great, but it's time to plan for the future. Noah Gray is a good tTE2, but Jared Wiley isn't the heir-apparent many made him out to be. Luke Lachey is a top-level route-runner with excellent ball skills who would make an immediate pass-catching impact with Patrick Mahomes.
