author image

The NFL season has shifted its focus to cold weather games and playoff implications. or many fan bases, their attention has shifted from who their favorite team could play in the playoffs to who their favorite team should draft in April. While the draft order will still have some shake-ups here and there, the top of the draft picture is starting to form. Considering scheme fit, player evaluation, and conversations within league circles, here is an early look at how things could shape out in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft.

Please note that the draft order is set using the real-time order at the time of publishing (during Sunday Night Football). Click on each player's name to read their full scouting report.

2025 NFL Mock Draft

1. Las Vegas Raiders

Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

Colorado players going back-to-back? It's a likely scenario where the Raiders bring in Shedeur Sanders and pair him with Jakobi Meyers and Brock Bowers, trying to add a quarterback they can compete within a loaded AFC West.

2. New York Giants

Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado

Travis Hunter is the best player in the draft and the Giants have a lot of holes to fill. Whether playing corner or wide receiver, Hunter will be tough to pass up for the Giants, even with their need at QB.

3. New England Patriots

Will Campbell, OT, LSU

Drake Maye is putting everything on tape you want to see from him behind one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL. I'm not sure where Will Campbell is going to play for the Patriots, but he's the best offensive lineman in the class.

4. Carolina Panthers

Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State

Bryce Young's improvement since he came back from the Panthers, who benched him, allows them to add more talent to their roster, especially if he continues to show the high-level flashes he has. Abdul Carter gives them a real No. 1 pass-rushing option at the EDGE position.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars

Mason Graham, IDL, Michigan

The defensive tackle room in Jacksonville needs more talent, and adding an interior presence will dramatically help Travon Walker and Josh Allen-Hines. Mason Graham will bring his effort, elite athleticism, and pass-rush prowess to the room and be most welcomed.

6. Tennessee Titans

Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

Will Levis hasn't been perfect this season but is showing some signs of improved play, maybe enough to earn another year to prove himself. Giving him Tetairoa McMillan will help at every level of the offense as an underrated after-the-catch player with legit ball skills.

7. New York Jets

Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia

There's a lot of mystery surrounding the Jets organization and what their plan is after the 2024 season, and investing in the trenches is always a good place for a new regime to start. While Mykel Williams hasn't produced to the level many expected, partially due to an injury, he has the traits to bet on.

8. Cleveland Browns

Cam Ward, QB, Miami

It's time to pull the plug on the failure that was Deshaun Watson. Eat whatever money they need to and draft a quarterback with top-level tools to put into Kevin Stefanski's offense who can continue to learn and improve. Cam Ward is that guy.

9. Chicago Bears

Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas

Caleb Williams will be entering his second season with his third offensive coordinator and has shown all the flashes and improvement expected as a rookie. However, the offensive line is a real problem. Kelvin Banks Jr. will help out the young quarterback whether he plays guard or tackle in the NFL.

10. Cincinnati Bengals

Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

Cincinnati drafting ANOTHER Michigan defender? Yes. Will Johnson is one of the best, if not the best, corner in this class, and while he battled injuries this season, he immediately upgrades the Bengals' secondary.

11. New Orleans Saints

Jalon Walker, LB/EDGE, Georgia

Bringing in Jalon Walker would help a lot as New Orleans is getting older on the edge and Willie Gay's one-year contract is expiring at the end of the season. Walker is an explosive athlete who can fill multiple roles in an aging defense.

12. Dallas Cowboys

Malaki Starks, SAF, Georgia

Even though Mike Zimmer took command of the defense this season, they are in desperate need of impact talent to help Micah Parsons. Malaki Starks can play in the back end of their defense and improve their nickel spot right away.

13. Miami Dolphins

Walter Nolen, IDL, Ole Miss

Miami needs an impact defensive tackle after they let Christian Wilkins walk in free agency. Walter Nolan will bring a powerful presence to complement their healthy edge rushers and add pass-rush juice from the interior.

14. Indianapolis Colts

Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan

The tight end position has been a sore spot in Indianapolis for years and they need to continue upgrading around Anthony Richardson to get the best out of him. Colston Loveland gives the offense a trusted playmaker with the tools to be a do-it-all tight end in the NFL.

15. Atlanta Falcons

James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Tennessee

Rushing the passer is something every team could use more of and the Falcons have been one of the worst at doing so this season. James Pearce Jr. has always had the speed off the edge, but he starting to figure out more hand counters and rush planning as he's turned it on in the back part of the season.

16. Arizona Cardinals

Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri

I know the Cardinals went Marvin Harrison Jr. with their top pick last year, but pairing Luther Burden III with Kyler Murray and Harrison Jr. is too good to pass up. They need another receiver who can bring speed and be a threat with the ball in his hands to round out their playmakers.

17. San Francisco 49ers

Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M

The 49ers' defense consistently loses pieces along its front every season. It's time to invest in a high-energy presence with positional flexibility to lock down the side across from Nick Bosa. Shemar Stewart's motor never stops.

18. Los Angeles Rams

Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame

The defensive overhaul continues in Los Angeles with their defensive backfield. They hit on some impressive front-four players the last two seasons, but they need a talent injection in the back end. Benjamin Morrison has the tools, football IQ, and physicality to become a lockdown player for the Rams.

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M

With Joe Tryon-Shoyinka a free agent in 2025 and the Buccaneers needing some help on the edges of their defense, Nic Scourton gives Todd Bowles a young, flexible rusher who he'll love to have on the defensive line. One thing is certain, Scourton is going to bring energy and physicality wherever he goes.

20. Washington Commanders

Marcus Mbow, OT, Purdue

They've got their man in Jayden Daniels, and off the heels of an impressive rookie season where the offensive line play was all over the place at the tackle position, Marcus Mbow will be a nice addition. He has the best hands in the class and brings a great movement skill to the right tackle position.

21. Denver Broncos

Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State

Bo Nix is turning heads in Denver with his play while not having the best stable of weapons around him. Courtland Sutton has shown that he's still got what it takes to play at a high level, and bringing in Emeka Egbuka, who can play anywhere you need him to, is a great fit for this offense.

22. Houston Texans

Wyatt Milum, OL, West Virginia

After C.J. Stroud's rookie season where the offensive line played fantastic, the interior has been a real problem this season. Wyatt Milum is a perfect solution to their immediate problems as he projects better to the interior, but can give you tackle flex in a pinch.

23. Seattle Seahawks

Aireontae Ersery, OT, Minnesota

The Seahawks' offensive line has been one of their weak points over the last two years. Their focus needs to be on keeping Geno Smith, or whoever starts in 2025, upright. Aireontae Ersery has fantastic hands and athletic ability for a 330-pound tackle. He'll shore up the right side.

24. Baltimore Ravens

Tre Harris, WR, Ole Miss

Zay Flowers is a fun auxiliary piece for an offense, and the Ravens have tried to make it work with Rashod Bateman and whoever else they have at receiver, but they need size that can get open. Tre Harris is a great complement to Flowers and is an underrated after-the-catch player.

25. Los Angeles Chargers

Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Jim Harbaugh invested in the offensive line last season with Joe Alt, and when they had a healthy J.K. Dobbins, the rushing attack was a threat. The problem is that Dobbins can't stay healthy. Ashton Jeanty would be the perfect type of workhorse back for this offense and has withstood the workload he's seen at Boise State well.

26. Green Bay Packers

Maxwell Hairston, CB, Kentucky

Eric Stokes and Corey Ballentine are pending free agents and the Packers' secondary could use more talent to help out Xavier McKinney and the pass rush. While Maxwell Harrison has missed time with an injury, he's long and instinctual with good movement skills and would be a great addition to Green Bay.

27. Pittsburgh Steelers

Azareye’h Thomas, CB, Florida State

While Joey Porter Jr. has shown his fair share of upside, he's been far from consistent and is often penalized. The Steelers have a need at cornerback with Donte Jackson, who will be a free agent in 2025. Azareye'h Thomas is a big, long press-man-style corner with unique movement skills for his size. He's a good fit in Pittsburgh.

28. Minnesota Vikings

Tyler Booker, IOL, Alabama

The loss of Christian Darrisaw has revealed some interior cracks along the offensive line. With J.J. McCarthy set to take over as the QB in 2025, investing in the offensive line is always a good idea. Tyler Booker is the best pure guard in the class and would be a welcomed sight in Minnesota.

29. Philadelphia Eagles

Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

Dallas Goedert landed on injured reserve once again for the Eagles and they will need some juice at the tight end position as Goedert gets older and keeps getting hurt. Tyler Warren would be a fantastic addition to this group of weapons.

30. Buffalo Bills

Princely Umanmielen, EDGE, Ole Miss

Princely Umanmielen is the prototype build for a Bills edge defender. Von Miller is another year older, and they can get out of the AJ Epenesa contract if they want. Umanmielen is still growing as a player, but the traits paired with the frame might be too good to pass up for the Bills here.

31. Kansas City Chiefs

Kenneth Grant, IDL, Michigan

Chris Jones is one of the premier defenders in the NFL, but next to him, there are still questions surrounding the future and impact of the other defensive tackles on the roster. Kenneth Grant is a powerful run defender with great athleticism at his size and tons of pass-rush upside.

32. Detroit Lions

Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall

Coming off of an injury, Aidan Hutchinson will need a partner in crime to terrorize opposing quarterbacks. Mike Green is an explosive, bendy athlete with a variety of pass-rush tools at his disposal. He'd be fun across from Hutchinson.
