The 2025 NFL Draft order was thrown into a blender on Sunday thanks to unlikely victories by the New England Patriots and Cleveland Browns. It was a stark reminder of the ever-changing dynamics of the NFL draft, proving that more twists and turns will arrive before we receive true clarity.
Though the actual draft order remains an ongoing puzzle, prospects have begun to separate themselves, allowing teams to begin building their draft boards with some certainty. Taking scheme fit, player evaluation, and conversations within league circles into account, here is an early look at how things could shape out in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft.
Please note that the draft order is set using the real-time order at the time of publishing (during Sunday Night Football). Click on each player's name to read their full scouting report.
2025 NFL Mock Draft
1. Carolina Panthers
Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
If Shedeur Sanders doesn't attempt to interfere with his landing spot, the Carolina Panthers can't pass on an opportunity to draft him. The Panthers appear ready to hit the reset button and admit defeat on Bryce Young. Off-script playmaking ability, high-level accuracy, and high-level ball placement make Sanders the most talented QB in this class.
2. Tennessee Titans
Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado
Travis Hunter is the most talented player in the 2025 NFL Draft, an opinion that was reinforced by his freakish two-way performance versus Cincinnati on Saturday. The Tennessee Titans need offensive studs that Brian Callahan can continue building his offense around after the team traded DeAndre Hopkins to the Kansas City Chiefs.
3. New England Patriots
Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State
The New England Patriots played themselves out of the Travis Hunter pick by beating the lowly New York Jets on Sunday. With rumors that they might trade Josh Uche before the early November trade deadline, EDGE could become a pretty pressing need. Abdul Carter, a converted off-ball linebacker, is beginning to grow into his own, with three sacks in his last four games.
4. New York Jets
Mason Graham, IDL, Michigan
The New York Jets' season continues to slip away from them despite the owner pushing his chips into the middle of the table with the Davante Adams acquisition. With Aaron Rodgers' playing status TBD, the Jets decide to keep building up the trenches by pairing Mason Graham with Quinnen Williams. Graham is a legitimate game-wrecker with elite pass-rushing potential.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars
Will Campbell, OT, LSU
The Jacksonville Jaguars are committed to Trevor Lawrence for the foreseeable future, so protecting him remains a top priority. Both Cam Robinson and Walker Little are scheduled for free agency, and the Jaguars may have to hit the reset button at the position from a dollars-and-cents standpoint. Some NFL scouts see Will Campbell kicking inside to guard, but he should be first given an opportunity at his most natural position (LT), having allowed just one sack in roughly 300 pass-blocking snaps this season.
6. New Orleans Saints
Aireontae Ersery, OT, Minnesota
Taliese Fuaga was an excellent start, but the New Orleans Saints need to continue investing in the offensive tackle position. Aireontae Ersery has been among college football's best left tackles this season. Length and movement skills allow Ersery to thrive in one-on-one pass situations.
7. Las Vegas Raiders
Cam Ward, QB, Miami
Cam Ward has developed into a breathtaking playmaker. His ascension to a potential top-five pick has been fascinating to watch. The Las Vegas Raiders won't repeat last year's mistake of watching all the good QB prospects come off the board in front of them.
8. Cleveland Browns
Garrett Nussmeier, QB, LSU
The Deshaun Watson era in Cleveland should conclude with his season-ending Achilles injury. Garrett Nussmeier has started just eight career games, and the highs and lows were both on display in Saturday's loss to Texas A&M. Still, Nussmeier is ahead of schedule, and that's something Kevin Stefanski can work with.
9. Miami Dolphins
Walter Nolen, IDL, Ole Miss
The Miami Dolphins have recorded nine sacks through seven games. They miss Christian Wilkins in a major way. Walter Nolen projects as a like-for-like replacement, as an interior defender that eliminates the opposing QB's opportunity to step up in the pocket.
10. New York Giants
Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas
There just isn't a QB worth replacing Daniel Jones with here, with both Quinn Ewers and Carson Beck potentially playing themselves out of the first round. The New York Giants may have two holes to fill on the offensive line in the summer, at RT and RG. Kelvin Banks Jr. could solve either, with a flex skill set that projects both inside and outside.
11. Cincinnati Bengals
Kenneth Grant, IDL, Michigan
What has happened to Lou Anarumo's once-feared defense? They're particularly weak up the middle, with BJ Hill scheduled for free agency and Sheldon Rankins looking like a future cap casualty. Drafting Kris Jenkins was a good start, but adding Kenneth Grant, Michigan's 340-pound game-wrecker, would go a long way toward solving their problems.
12. Los Angeles Rams
Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
The Tre'Davious White gamble hasn't worked out for the Los Angeles Rams. Darious Williams and Ahkello Witherspoon are also short-term band-aids. Will Johnson is a straightforward evaluation with the instincts and athleticism required to be a lockdown CB.
13. San Francisco 49ers
Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M
EDGE is an aging position group on the San Francisco 49ers with Leonard Floyd (32) in a starting role. Nic Scourton is up to five sacks on the season as a powerful defender with pro-ready play strength. Scourton will get on the field right away as a rookie because he's an outstanding run defender.
14. Indianapolis Colts
Malaki Starks, SAF, Georgia
The Indianapolis Colts are fielding one of the worst secondaries in the league. GM Chris Ballard needs to continue infusing this group with youth. Malaki Starks is a versatile playmaker who would wear multiple hats for Gus Bradley.
15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Jalon Walker, LB/EDGE, Georgia
Jalon Walker is an athletic, ascending player who entered the top-15 conversation with a three-sack performance against the Texas Longhorns. Joe Tryon-Shoyinka is set for free agency, and GM Jason Licht could opt for an affordable replacement on a rookie contract.
16. Seattle Seahawks
Wyatt Milum, OL, West Virginia
West Virginia left tackle Wyatt Milum projects as a guard due to below-average arm length. The Seattle Seahawks need help at both left and right guard, particularly on the left where Laken Tomlinson hasn't been the short-term solution they hoped for. Drafting Milum could give the Seahawks a young tandem at guard next season alongside Christian Haynes.
17. Dallas Cowboys
Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
Ashton Jeanty finally looked human against UNLV, averaging a season-low 3.9 yards per carry. Of course, he still rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown. I'm not yet convinced he'll be drafted in the top 10, but the Dallas Cowboys shouldn't pass on his talents considering they are fielding the league's worst rushing attack this season.

18. Chicago Bears
Tyler Booker, IOL, Alabama
It's all about surrounding Caleb Williams with the most advantageous environment. To achieve that, the Chicago Bears must continue revamping the interior of their offensive line. Alabama guard Tyler Booker is a physically dominant blocker at a powerful 348 pounds.
19. Arizona Cardinals
Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia
Jonathan Gannon is a defensive-minded coach who has to be frustrated with the lack of production from his pass rush. The Arizona Cardinals are averaging just two sacks per game. Mykel Williams has battled an injury this season while undergoing a position change, but the upside as an explosive EDGE defender is evident when he's been on the field.
20. Los Angeles Chargers
Princely Umanmielen, EDGE, Ole Miss
The Los Angeles Chargers badly need an injection of youth at the EDGE position. Both Khalil Mack and Bud Dupree are unlikely to return next season. Princely Umanmielen, who has 4.5 sacks in his last three appearances, deserves more first-round buzz. Umanmielen is a speedy and athletic rusher who had two sacks in Saturday's win over Oklahoma.
21. Denver Broncos
Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
The Denver Broncos continue building around Bo Nix by selecting Tetairoa McMillan. The aging Courtland Sutton won't be in Denver forever, and McMillan projects as an excellent successor with his similar X-receiver tendencies as a dominant boundary player.
22. Atlanta Falcons
James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Tennessee
The Atlanta Falcons are one of the worst pass-rushing teams in the league despite trading for Matthew Judon. Draft picks like Arnold Ebiketie, DeAngelo Malone, and Zach Harrison haven't worked out yet. Sacks should soon arrive in bunches for Tennessee Volunteers EDGE James Pearce Jr., who has one of the best pressure rates in the country.
23. Baltimore Ravens
Shavon Revel Jr., CB, East Carolina
Shavon Revel Jr. tore his ACL in mid-September, which puts him roughly seven months into his recovery when April rolls around. Revel was a no-brainer first-rounder before the injury. I believe teams will be comfortable with that timeline, especially one picking in the late 20s like the Baltimore Ravens, who are allowing a league-worst 287.1 passing yards per game.
24. Philadelphia Eagles
Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College
Philadelphia Eagles GM Howie Roseman believes in investing resources in the EDGE position. Better depth will be needed with the aging Brandon Graham likely headed for retirement for in the offseason. Donovan Ezeiruaku, who has produced nine sacks in eight games this season, is entering the first-round conversation.
25. Pittsburgh Steelers
Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri
The Pittsburgh Steelers will re-sign Russell Wilson this offseason if he keeps his hot streak going. Adding another pass-catching weapon to the fold opposite George Pickens is paramount. Pickens is a downfield contested-catch winner, and Luther Burden III would do big-time damage underneath the coverage.
26. Minnesota Vikings
Deone Walker, IDL, Kentucky
Deone Walker is extremely light on his feet for a 6-foot-6, 345-pound interior defender. Vikings DC Brian Flores is overseeing an outstanding defense this season, but it would be even better with a quick-footed gap penetrator up the middle.
27. Buffalo Bills
Tacario Davis, CB, Arizona
Rasul Douglas is playing on a contract that is scheduled to void in February and Kaiir Elam hasn't developed into a functional player. GM Brandon Beane has begun retooling this secondary in recent years and that continues here with the pick of Arizona cornerback Tacario Davis. Davis is a big-bodied press-man corner with the size and length required to thrive on an island at the next level.
28. Green Bay Packers
Jabbar Muhammad, CB, Oregon
The Green Bay Packers have a few cornerbacks scheduled for free agency, including Eric Stokes. Furthermore, Jaire Alexander's production has been slowed by injury. Jabbar Muhammad is undersized by traditional boundary cornerback standards, but he's consistently proven he can thrive outside throughout his college football career.
29. Washington Commanders
Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame
Benjamin Morrison is a technically advanced corner prospect who projects as an immediate contributor. The Commanders have been largely stellar against the pass this season, but that's more a result of Dan Quinn's scheme than it is talent at the corner position. By choosing Morrison, the current regime can begin moving on from Emmanuel Forbes, who was drafted by the previous decision-makers.
30. Houston Texans
Jonah Savaiinaea, OL, Arizona
Kenyon Green is struggling for the Houston Texans and Juice Scruggs is taking his bumps at center. Upgrading the interior offensive line will be a priority this offseason. Arizona's Jonah Savaiinaea is playing tackle this season, but he projects to kick inside to guard. Savaiinaea is an extremely physical blocker with good feet in pass protection.
31. Detroit Lions
LT Overton, EDGE, Alabama
Alabama EDGE LT Overton has applied consistent pressure on opposing quarterbacks this season and it's starting to pay off. He had sacks in recent showings versus Wisconsin and Tennessee. The Lions needed another edge rusher before Aidan Hutchinson's season-ending injury, and Brad Holmes will be especially anxious to land another difference-maker with Hutchinson facing a lengthy road to recovery.
32. Kansas City Chiefs
Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
Travis Kelce is beginning to show signs of slowing down. You have to wonder if Kelce will retire in the offseason if the Chiefs complete the three-peat. Michigan's Colston Loveland is an outstanding pass-catching TE whose potential is being capped by Michigan's lackluster offense this season.
