In-play Film Analysis:
Raheim Sanders is a downhill, powerful ball-carrier that will embarrass defenders that approach with soft contact. An explosive running back, his acceleration to the edges makes him a nightmare to tackle at 235 pounds. A zone runner primarily for the Razorbacks, Sanders has the ideal vision to quickly ID cutback lanes. When met with contact, he showcases a powerful leg drive to push through contact, always falling forward.
Sanders is not the most agile but can make defenders miss inside the tackles with a quick stop-start ability. Foot turnover helps him work back up to speed quickly. A willing participant in pass pro, which will help provide three-down value.
While recruited to Arkansas as a wide receiver, Sanders is primarily a check-down option but could benefit from improving his route-running. Tends to hunt for unwarranted contact at times. Sanders will look to attack a defender rather than take a vacant alley.
Overall, Sanders is an extremely well-rounded ball-carrier that provides a blend of vision, power, and burst matched by few in the college game.
