Pros - Pass rushing skill set translates well to the NFL. Illustrates good snap anticipation and burst out of his stance. Has the flexibility to carry speed through tight turns and run the loop. Battles with fluidity to carry his hips through rush angles and has good closing burst to finish. Has a decent amount of variety in his moves but he's most effective with a dip and rip. Able to convert speed to power and work counters off his bull rush. Has the mobility to work laterally out towards the sideline and down the line of scrimmage from the backside. Does a good job staying home when unblocked. Hands are active and he effectively attacks blockers where they are most vulnerable. Plays with good overall leverage out of his stance.

Cons - Modest run defender that lacks bulk and play strength to be a consistently stout edge setter. More play strength is needed overall. Is guilty of body to body rushes and improving his vision will take his game to the next level. Modest length. More nuance with his hand technique could be achieved. Dismissed from Virginia Tech in 2018.
