ANALYST'S REPORTS

PROS: Compact frame lends itself to high step frequency and excellent body control. Can be quite sudden, both at the line of scrimmage when releasing, and with the ball in his hands. Has quickness out of his breaks and can make sharp cuts. Will work jab step at line and at top of break alike to generate quick leverage; has burst to draw even with CBs on vertical stems. Hands true away from frame and through contact. Does very well to work with scrambling QB, moving late into frame and working to find space. Will give effort as a blocker.

CONS: Excessively dance-y with the ball in his hands and regularly loses yardage following poor decisions. Vision a major question mark, which is an issue for a player who needs YAC work to succeed. Not fast whatsoever but also lacking in notable burst, leading to an elusive, bot not necessarily explosive playmaker that can't really chunk up yardage. Lack of athletic ability beyond body control/shiftiness greatly limits projection as both slot receiver and 'gadget' player. Route tree painfully limited, and for a player of his quickness, he's used surprisingly sparingly across the middle. Easily uprooted/rerouted with contact; no press reps evident but physical profile does not lend itself to success therein. Lacks the frame and speed profile to win with leverage down the field. Will look to work far too much pizzazz into stem/break without an objective in mind.
