PROS: Quick decision maker in the pocket who is quick to shoot the ball out of his hands -- loves to get the ball into hands of playmakers in space. Pretty mobile as a passer, implemented in a lot of roll out reads and opportunities to create coverage breakdowns by stressing defenses laterally. Fine has some instances of precision inside of 10-15 yards, particularly when he's in rhythm at the top of his drops or reading defenders on the second level and given a chance to zip a slant pattern in behind a vacated defender. Highly accomplished at North Texas and has completely rewritten the school's passing records as a 3+ year starter with the Mean Green.
CONS: I'm not overly sold on his arm talent. Natural arm strength is just fine (*rimshot*) but he's not going to inspire you with his ability to push the ball or squeeze it into tight windows when he's forced to squeeze a throw into a tight window. His stature has led to a notable number of batted balls at the line of scrimmage -- he's going to have a hard time shaking that at the next level. Can be pretty loopy with his delivery and as a result he'll tip his hand on intended targets and he doesn't have the force on the ball to really mask it and prevent more twitchy defenders from jumping his throws. Too many throws end up at the feet of receivers working up the field when he's trying to throw under duress in the pocket.
