Pros (+): Campbell primarily played 3-technique for the Gators, but will slide inside to 1-technique in certain situations. Shown to be durable at the point of attack as he eats up double teams and does an adequate job of holding down his assigned gap. While he won’t stack and break free consistently to have an affect on plays, he plugs the hole/gap(s), which allows others to roam freely when given opportunities. Campbell has a powerful lower half. It’s not often to see him completely blown out of his designated areas and he shows lots of brute strength as a run defender. Plays with his hands well and it enables him to keep his frame clean of any immediate threats.
Cons (–): Right now, Campbell is a strictly a bull rusher who’s still searching for a go-to move that works consistently for him. A severely underdeveloped pass rush arsenal has limited him to being only a two down threat, and he’s often taken off of the field in those situations. He can struggle to bend and as a result, he shows limited athleticism overall in his game. Campbell will need to diversify his game in order to become a full-time player at the next level.
