Pros - Grad-transferred to Miami in January and he was one of two player representatives for the University at ACC Media Day in July. Has the ability to win at every level of the field. Proven deep threat that can get behind the secondary, he can uncover quickly from the slot and is fearless over the middle while also showcasing dynamic skills in space as a runner. Decisive, creative and physical post catch with outstanding field vision. Ball skills and hands are outstanding which have both been challenged given the erratic quarterbacks he’s played with. Love his ability to track over the shoulder and adjust. Runs well-timed routes with good pace while making good adjustments on the fly. Has been productive as a punt returner, averaging over ten yards per return.
Cons - Often lined up in the slot and provided free releases so I’m curious to see if he gets more chances on the outside for Miami. Does he have game-breaking speed to make the same explosive plays in the ACC as he did at Buffalo? Route tree has been limited to this point and there is a lot to prove in terms of his ability to be a route salesman.
