ANALYST'S REPORTS

PROS: Big bodied receiver who has enough savvy to really abuse linebackers and safeties alike in coverage thanks to his size, release ability and hands over the middle. He's at his best in congested areas in the middle of the field -- does a nice job boxing out defenders and using his hands to cleanly catch the football. He's tasked with a lot of reps with his hand in the dirt, promising an accelerated transition to the pros, likable foundation as a pass protector to get square on rushers. Possesses the functional strength to hold his own from an in-line position.

CONS: Not overly creative after the catch, not sure he's going to be a player who feasts with the ball in his hands relative to how well he can create MOF separation without it. His burst and acceleration are only pedestrian, stronger defenders can stick tough with him and give him some trouble on his breaks. Blocking foundation doesn't always provide results, either -- there are times in which his feet break down and he really struggles to stay upright on his hips. Plenty of room for improvement with continued framing to sustain his blocks.
