Pros: Evan bring average athleticism to the LB position. In the passing game, he is sufficient. He is instinctive in coverage and should be utilized in zone drops only against the pass. Can rush sufficiently inside, primarily as a bull rusher. In the run game he is good, particularly in the box. He is heavy at the point of attack. Although he lacks good athleticism, he rarely misses tackles, especially in the box. Does a good job of stacking/shedding inside and locating the football. Has excellent emotional endurance. He plays hard late in games and also brings excellent leadership to a defense. Projects as a 4 phase core special teamer in the NFL.

Cons: He is a 2 down LB only in the NFL. This will be an issue for him as most of the game is played in sub. He's not a great athlete and will struggle in space against elite skill players. Try hard player, that will do exactly what he's coached to do, but is limited athletically. Although he has shown instances of disengaging inside, he's ideally suited playing covered up in an even front defense. Thus, limiting him with regards to schematic versatility.
