PROS: He brings excellent, proactive athleticism to the RB position. In the passing game, he demonstrates good route-running ability and sufficient hands, routinely catching swing routes and check-downs out of the backfield. He also shows the ability to win against man coverage on LBs underneath. In the run game he plays with excellent agility in short areas and is difficult to tackle once he has the ball in space. He has a very good jump cut and can make you miss in the hole. He runs with very good lower body strength and displays good instincts on inside zones. Does an excellent job of cutting to a defenders weak arm and has good long speed to go the distance on any carry.

CONS: Although I believe he has the toughness and skill set to be a 3-down back, pass protection may be an issue for him on 3rd downs at the next level. I’d like to see him display better effort and keep his eyes up when chipping a DE or trying to cut blitzing edge defenders. He can get knocked off his route by bigger LBs who have initiated contact. His hands are only sufficient when catching out of the backfield and nothing more. If he is not the starter, he may have a challenge being active on gameday due to his special teams projection (or lack thereof) and inconsistency in pass pro.
