Clyde aligns at the RB position for the Tiger spread offensive attack. He has also aligned in the slot in empty sets. He brings excellent proactive athleticism to the RB position. In the run game he plays with excellent agility in a short area. He has a very good jump cut and can make you miss in the hole. He runs with very good lower body strength and displays good instincts on inside zones. Does an excellent job of cutting to a defenders weak arm and has good long speed to go the distance on any carry. Size may be the only thing limiting him from being a 3 down back at the next level, however, he often avoids big hits because he is so dynamic and elusive.  In the passing game, he demonstrates good route running ability and sufficient hands swing routes out of the backfield and check downs. He can get knocked off his route by bigger LBs who have initiated contact. He has also shows the ability to win against man coverage on LBs underneath and is difficult to tackle once he has the ball in space.  Being a face up pass protector may be an issue in pass pro and cutting isn’t always effective against bigger, stronger blitzers. Needs to be more consistent when he is chipping and cutting a blitzing defender. In the NFL he is a change of pace back whom a coordinator may have to create a package for. He will not be the starter and his special teams value may diminish due to his size. This may hurt him with regards to the numbers of active players on game day.
