PROS: Understands leverage and maximizes it to turn linebackers out of the hole with ease. Well-packed, lean frame that is almost maxed out. Will meet defenders in the hole. Excellent cut-blocker. Holds his own surprisingly well when 1-on-1 with an edge rusher during pass protection. Shows active, efficient feet in pass sets that is surprising for a non-offensive line player. Does a good job of sifting through the chaos at the line to find his man. Grippy upper body.
Cons: Doesn’t bring a ton of power behind his punch. Rarely used as an option in the passing game. Will have trouble making a roster at the next level unless he shows elite special teams potential. Will occasionally sell-out for a large hit and slightly whiff on his target. Route-running is pigeon-holed to check-down routes. Average play speed.
