Video Content: Jakobi Meyers’ Shows His Versatility

North Carolina State wide receiver Jakobi Meyers was apart of a dynamic receiver duo for the Wolfpack. Between Meyers and counterpart Kelvin Harmon, the two combined for 173 receptions and 2,233 receiving yards.

Meyers is a bit of a unique prospect for the position. At just a shade under 6’2 with some length in his legs, Meyers has refined footwork and enticing ball skills. With limited reps on the outside, his ability to beat press coverage is inconsistent. Sometimes he abuses it, other times he gets seriously held up in the contact window.

His projection is likely that of the “big slot” receiver, where his traits could be best utilized. On this particular rep against Syracuse, Meyers showed off all attributes that had scouts at the Senior Bowl buzzing.
