Texas Tech wide receiver Antoine Wesley declared for the NFL Draft after a breakout junior season. Despite having just 10 career receptions entering the year, he broke out for over 1,400 receiving yards and 9 touchdowns in 2018.

Wesley is a towering, long presence who played along the boundary for the Red Raiders. Wide receivers with his length will usually struggle with change of direction, and in turn be unrefined route runners. However, Wesley has some unnatural shiftiness in his hips.

While his top end speed is limited compared to smaller, quicker receivers, Wesley isn’t limited as a route runner. He may garner the label as raw because he only has one season of production, but don’t let that fool you. Wesley has technical prowess and more than enough nuance for the NFL.
