After a countless number of hours researching background information and matching it with the game film, the time has finally come to develop early positional rankings and big boards. The 2019 college football season is finally underway and it is always interesting to monitor which prospects sink or swim with offseason hype.

While there's been cases of both during draft season, there's a new one upon us, and there have already been prospects that have started to shine during the early stages. Many prospects plan to continue to build up their resumes in hopes of becoming the next member of a distinct group in the NFL, but all roads lead to Las Vegas, which is the host city for the 2020 NFL Draft next April.

Here are my early positional rankings for the 2020 NFL Draft:

Positional Rankings

OFF: QB | RB | WR | TE | OT | IOL

DEF: EDGE | IDL | LB | CB | S
