The NFL announced its 2026 Pro Bowl Games rosters on Tuesday. First-time selections include New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens, and Philadelphia Eagles cornerbacks Cooper DeJean and Quinyon Mitchell. The lone rookie to make the Pro Bowl is Tennessee Titans wide receiver Chimere Dike, who qualified for the all-star game as a special teams returner.
As per usual, several deserving players were snubbed from the Pro Bowl as well. Fan voting often contains biases and allows for ascending talents to fly under the radar. With that in mind, we've identified five 2026 Pro Bowl snubs.
Jordan Love, QB, Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur calls a well-balanced offense. Perhaps that's why quarterback Jordan Love was snubbed. Love has been efficient throughout 2025, throwing for 3,381 yards, 23 touchdowns, and seven interceptions.
Matthew Stafford, Sam Darnold, and Dak Prescott were named the NFC's quarterbacks. Stafford is a no-brainer, but we're not convinced Darnold and/or Prescott deserved to get in over Love. Love is on pace for a career-high 66.3% completion percentage, and his 72.8 adjusted quarterback rating (QBR) ranks third behind just Pro Bowlers Drake Maye and Prescott.
Aaron Brewer, C, Miami Dolphins
The struggling Miami Dolphins are only sending one player to the Pro Bowl. That would be dynamic running back De'Von Achane. Achane wouldn't be as productive if it weren't for elite center Aaron Brewer.
Mike McDaniel arguably calls the most complex rushing scheme in the NFL. Brewer has been the catalyst in that system, spearheading Achane to 1,2267 yards and eight touchdowns. Brewer is Pro Football Focus' second-highest graded center this campaign (91.2), and that passes the eye test on film, with the undersized center getting out in space and generating rushing lanes at the second level.
Jalen Pitre, SAF, Houston Texans
The Houston Texans are sending three defenders to the Pro Bowl. DeMeco Ryans' unit arguably deserved more all-star recognition. Safety Jalen Pitre is the best slot defender in the league.
Pitre has recorded four interceptions, 11 passes defended, and 66 tackles this season. The former Baylor standout's -0.63 EPA per passing target is the best among all defensive backs (corner, safety, slot), according to Next Gen Stats. Pitre is a heat-seeking missile that covers every blade of grass.
Nahshon Wright, CB, Chicago Bears
The Chicago Bears' cornerback room was in legitimate trouble when alpha Jaylon Johnson went down with an injury. The player who stepped up is cornerback Nahshon Wright. The Bears are ending a five-year postseason drought and talents like Wright are an underrated reason why.
With five interceptions, three fumble recoveries, and two forced fumbles, Wright is delivering impact plays for defensive coordinator Dennis Allen. Head coach Ben Johnson has changed the circumstances for the once-struggling franchise. Finding gems like Wright helped him do it.
Devin Lloyd, LB, Jacksonville Jaguars
The 11-4 Jacksonville Jaguars have won six consecutive contests. They are fielding the stingiest run defense in the league, allowing the fewest rushing yards per game (87.3). Leading that unit has been linebacker Devin Lloyd.
The Jaguars somehow have one Pro Bowler, and it's long snapper Ross Matiscik. Lloyd has registered 70 tackles in 13 games, and he's also been a game-changer in coverage, accumulating five interceptions. Lloyd deserved to get in over Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair.
