The Draft Network’s Jaime Eisner recently released his latest 2026 NFL mock draft via the Mock Draft Machine (MDM). Our Draft Network Top 100 prospect rankings have served as a reference point for his analysis and decisions. With the 2025 college football season entering the CFP, it's officially mock draft season!
I’ve been selected to dissect Eisner’s latest mock draft. I've identified my favorite selections, scheme fits, and the best prospect not selected. I also have some question marks. Let’s dive into The Draft Network’s latest 2026 NFL mock draft.
Favorite Pick: Jordyn Tyson, WR, New York Giants (No. 5 overall)
The New York Giants trade down from No. 1 overall in Eisner's scenario and accumulate three top-50 picks as a result. With the fifth selection, they draft the potential WR1 in the class, Arizona State's Jordyn Tyson. Tyson would pair with Malik Nabers to provide the next head coach with an incredible one-two punch at wideout.
This coming offseason is all about setting franchise quarterback Jaxson Dart up for success. Tyson is a dynamic route runner with the ability to make contested catches and run after the catch. That could make Tyson a QB-friendly target for Dart.
Biggest Question Mark: Kayden McDonald, NT, Baltimore Ravens (No. 14 overall)
Our criticism here benefited from the gift of hindsight. Eisner has the Baltimore Ravens taking Kayden McDonald at No. 14 overall, partially due to Travis Jones' expiring contract. Well, since Eisner submitted his mock, the Ravens signed Jones to a three-year contract extension worth $40.5 million.
Otherwise, McDonald would have qualified as a replacement at nose tackle. The Ravens can take this selection in a different direction now. Eric DeCosta may address EDGE (Cashius Howell) or cornerback (Brandon Cisse) here.
Best Scheme Fit: Olaivavega Ioane, IOL, Philadelphia Eagles (No. 21 overall)
The Philadelphia Eagles' offensive line simply hasn't lived up to its reputation this campaign. While much of the focus has centered around Lane Johnson's injury, the Eagles haven't been good enough across the interior either. Losing Mekhi Becton, a 2024 stud, has downgraded the right guard position.
Penn State's Olaivavega Ioane is the top-rated interior prospect. Ioane creates movement almost on demand with a stout build and power in his hands and hips. He would immediately step into a starting role at right guard.
Best Value: Jeremiyah Love, RB, Dallas Cowboys (No. 23 overall)
Penn State running back Jeremiyah Love officially declared for the NFL Draft on Tuesday. Let the positional value debate rage on. Love is a top-three overall prospect in this class.
The Dallas Cowboys land Love at 23rd overall in Eisner's scenario. It's difficult to envision Love sliding this far, but obviously, the non-premium position conversation won the debate in this hypothetical. Love would immediately transform the Cowboys' offense.
Best Player Not Selected: A’Mauri Washington, DT, Oregon
I'm significantly higher on A'Mauri Washington, who is No. 77 overall in our latest Draft Network 100 prospect rankings. Eisner had just three interior defensive linemen in his first-round mock, but Washington didn't make the cut. The Oregon standout is an impressive athlete for his size, with strength and power rounding out his skill set.
