The New York Jets are expected to be aggressive sellers at the upcoming NFL trade deadline (Nov. 4). Running back Breece Hall is their biggest bargaining chip. General manager Darren Mougey requires additional draft capital in order to accelerate this painful rebuild. The Jets are the league's lone winless team (0-7) entering Week 8.

Hall has rushed for 448 yards via 99 carries this season. He's averaging an effective 4.5 yards per carry despite being stuck on an incompetent offense. Hall has also added 19 receptions to his offensive totals this campaign.

The Jets are currently scheduled to own the No. 1 overall selection in the 2026 NFL Draft. After benching Justin Fields, they're likely to take a quarterback with a top-five pick. Trading Hall will earn Mougey much-needed capital to build the roster. We've identified three potential landing spots.

Los Angeles Chargers

Los Angeles Chargers rookie running back Omarion Hampton remains on IR with an ankle injury. Greg Roman's offense has been relying on Kimani Vidal and Hassan Haskins in his absence. Vidal started hot, but this duo is ill-equipped to carry the rushing attack forward. The 4-3 Chargers are in postseason contention within the competitive constraints of the AFC West. They should look for someone who can help them near the trade deadline.

Hall would be such an outstanding fit in Roman's offense. His dual-threat ability would endear itself to Justin Herbert, who would appreciate a backfield playmaker capable of alleviating some of the pressure he's been under since Hampton and Najee Harris were lost to injury. Hall would get the Chargers' rushing attack trending upwards.

Cincinnati Bengals

Acquiring Joe Flacco has given the Cincinnati Bengals' offense new life. They're 1-1 since trading for Flacco, with a 33-point performance in an impressive primetime win over their division rival Pittsburgh Steelers. The 3-4 Bengals are in the division and wild-card hunt.

Flacco should keep the Bengals in the postseason race until Joe Burrow is healthy enough to return from his turf toe injury. Zac Taylor's rushing attack ranks dead-last in the NFL, averaging a pathetic 68.9 yards per contest. Hall would be an upgrade, joining Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins to give Flacco another outlet.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs have not run the football effectively this campaign. Isiah Pacheco is their leading rusher with 271 yards, with Patrick Mahomes barely trailing him by 21 yards (250). Pacheco has rushed for just one touchdown, and Kareem Hunt is a past-his-prime backup. Brashard Smith deserves more opportunities, but the Chiefs are easing him in.

Andy Reid's offense is currently overly reliant on Mahomes' heroics. Getting Rashee Rice back from suspension and Xavier Worthy back from injury has provided the passing attack with some much-needed juice in recent weeks. Reid's offense needs to achieve better balance if they're to meet their annual expectations, though. Hall would be an unbelievable fit in this offense, both as a rusher and a pass catcher.
