Los Angeles Rams 7-Round NFL Mock Draft: February

The Los Angeles Rams slightly exceeded expectations in 2024. Sean McVay’s Rams won the NFC West and then upset the Minnesota Vikings at home in the postseason. Their postseason run reached its end with a divisional round defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Last year's draft brought the Rams defensive difference-makers such as Braden Fiske and Jared Verse. With Matthew Stafford still at quarterback, and the championship window still open, the 2025 NFL Draft must focus on offensive upgrades. Changes are coming. We’ve conducted a seven-round mock draft that improves the offense.

Round 1 (No. 26 overall): Josh Conerly Jr., OT, Oregon

Starting left tackle Alaric Jackson is the Rams’ most notable free agent. A former undrafted free agent, Jackson is undeniably looking for a sizable payday. Les Snead may prefer to replace him with a younger, cheaper option. Oregon’s Josh Conerly Jr. is a first-round tackle with length and athleticism.

Round 3 (No. 90 overall): Jeffrey Bassa, LB, Oregon

Linebacker has been a need since the Rams traded Ernest Jones IV in the offseason. Omar Speights was a surprising revelation in 2024, but defensive coordinator Chris Shula needs more from the position. Christian Rozeboom, Troy Reeder, and Jake Hummel are all scheduled for free agency. We’re doubling down on Oregon Ducks with Jeffrey BassaBassa was outstanding at the Senior Bowl, showcasing athleticism, instincts, and coverage ability.

Round 3 (No. 100 overall): Elijah Arroyo, TE, Miami

The Rams considered trading up for Brock Bowers last season. With Cooper Kupp officially on the trade block, McVay needs another high-volume pass catcher on offense. That doesn't necessarily have to be a receiver. The Rams didn't get enough production from their right ends last season. Elijah Arroyo caught everything thrown his way in Mobile, establishing himself as a top 100 overall prospect.

Round 4 (No. 126 overall): Pat Bryant II, WR, Illinois

Kupp isn't the only Rams receiver potentially on his way out. DeMarcus Robinson played on an expiring contract this past offseason. The Rams need to add multiple weapons this summer. Pat Bryant II was terrific at the Senior Bowl, using size and athleticism to dominate at the catch point. Bryant would compliment Puka Nacua nicely outside.

Round 6 (No. 192 overall): Alijah Huzzie, CB, North Carolina

Quentin Lake and Cobie Durant are the only long-term corners in McVay's secondary right now. Ahkello Witherspoon gave the defense quality snaps in 2024, but he's slated for free agency. Darious Williams is an aging asset. The Rams need to continue adding developmental cornerbacks. Alijah Huzzie was a big-time winner at the East-West Shrine Bowl, showcasing legitimate coverage abilities.

Round 6 (No. 203 overall): Efton Chism III, WR, Eastern Washington

With Kupp on his way out, why not return back to the Eastern Washington well that paid off so handsomely the last time around? Efton Chism III is a draftable talent who could enjoy a similar rise-up-the-ranks Kupp once did. Chism III caught everything thrown his way at the East-West Shrine Bowl.

Round 6 (No. 204 overall): Cam Jackson, DT, Florida

Shula enjoys using a big-bodied defensive lineman on early downs. Bobby Brown III and Neville Gallimore are both slated for free agency after playing that role last season. Cam Jackson is that type of player at 339 pounds. Jackson highlighted easy movement skills in Mobile.
