3 WRs Raiders Should Target In 2025 NFL Draft

As of late, the only positive news coming out of Las Vegas has been that they have the greatest quarterback of all time, Tom Brady, as a minority owner. Unfortunately for the Raiders, Brady cannot play quarterback for them.

Along with a void at the quarterback position, the Raiders created another huge void in their offense last week when they traded Davante Adams to the New York Jets, leaving Las Vegas without any proven playmakers at the receiver position. An offensive rebuild like this has to be done through the draft because the two positions that are of the highest priority, QB and WR, are the most expensive.

Check out the available wide receiver options for the Raiders with their first three picks in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Raiders need another dominant X receiver that can win on the outside and draw coverage toward them.

Tetairoa McMillan, Arizona or Travis Hunter, Colorado (Round 1)

The only benefit of the Raiders not finishing as high as they want in the standings is that they should rank fairly high in the draft order. Being inside the top 10 should give them a great opportunity to grab either Tetairoa McMillan or Travis Hunter. Both players are great 50-50 ball catchers who thrive in congested areas and make tough catches. Another underrated element for both receivers is their run-after-catch ability and how they can convert short passes into explosive plays, which could make it easier for whoever the quarterback is next year for the Raiders.

Tre Harris, Ole Miss (Round 2)

Tre Harris is toward the top of college football in receiving yards and is the go-to target for Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart. This shows that Harris is capable of carrying the load of the target share for a No. 1 receiver in the NFL.

Harris has a big, strong frame that will command teams’ most gifted corners and help free things up for other weapons. Harris has shown that he can win those classic 3rd-and-short situations where he has to run a quick slant and win across the defensive back’s face. Harris has the upside to be one of these physically imposing receivers who can develop into a viable target on the outside.

Elic Ayomanor, Stanford (Round 3)

Elic Ayomanor is a name that is under the radar but is a player with plenty of upside. Listed at 6-foot-2 and 210 pounds, Ayomanor has the physical profile to fit that of being an X receiver in the NFL.

Due to a lack of a high-level quarterback, Ayomanor’s production has struggled some, but if you need to know what this guy is about, watch the film from last season against Colorado and watch how he dominated a matchup against Hunter, consistently using his frame to be dominant.

Ayomanor is another receiver who can be a high-target, possession receiver and work in the middle of the field if necessary. Ayomanor appears to have the ability to potentially evolve into a No. 1 receiver in the NFL.
