3 QBs Raiders Should Target In 2025 NFL Draft

The momentum that the Las Vegas Raiders finished with last year appears to be slowing down, and they’re about to lose their star wide receiver, Davante Adams. The Raiders haven't quite found an answer to the QB position, and the old saying rings true; if you have two quarterbacks, you have none.

The outlook for the rest of the season looks bleak for the Raiders and they are definitely one of the teams that is on the verge of a wholesale rebuild. And everyone knows rebuilding starts with the QB position. The Raiders currently have three picks inside the top 100 (21, 52, 83). Check out three options for the Raiders to take a swing at to find their franchise QB in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Quinn Ewers, QB, Texas

Quinn Ewers is a talented QB who has a good combination of being a natural thrower to make high-level throws in addition to high-level IQ. Ewers will enter the draft with a ton of stars under his belt and will be one of the most experienced QBs in the draft.

Ewers will be a good option for the Raiders because he has experience turning around a historic program. Everyone forgets that when Ewers arrived in Austin, Texas was still trying to re-find itself. Ewers helped provide much-needed stability, something the Raiders need from a franchise guy. The key to Ewers being successful in Las Vegas will be experience. Experience playing in not only big moments but experience turning around a big-time program and leading them to success amid high expectations.

Miller Moss, QB, USC

Miller Moss is one of the most talented quarterbacks who’s flying under the radar. Through just a few games, Moss has proven that he is one of the most skilled quarterbacks in this draft class and is a flat-out gamer.

Moss’s in-game body language shows that he is not phased by chaos, which is going to be necessary if you are the quarterback for the Raiders. Moss is thriving in the high-stress position of being USC’s starting QB and is simply blocking out the noise and playing good football.

Garrett Nussmeier, QB, LSU

Garrett Nussmeier has gotten off to one of the fastest and most productive starts in college football. Nussmeier is already shouldering the load of the entire LSU football team, as every win looks like it is going to come behind his arm and ability to properly execute this offense.

This type of responsibility will be necessary in Las Vegas, as stepping in as the franchise quarterback with this roster means Nussmeier will be relied on to win games. Nussmeier being the son of an NFL coach will also prove to be a benefit as he has a certain level of familiarity with the NFL and its operations.
