The 2024 NFL Draft is a few weeks away and teams are finalizing their draft boards before the event kicks off. There are a lot of rumors swirling around pre-draft and it is smokescreen season.
I decided to take on a fun task to complete a four-round mock. Enjoy as I attempt to improve all 32 NFL teams!
2024 NFL Mock Draft
1. Chicago Bears (via CAR)
Caleb Williams, QB, USC
QB1 goes first overall... enough said!
2. Washington Commanders
Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU
The Commanders need a difference-maker at the QB position that they haven't had in quite some time. Jayden Daniels' accuracy and elite athleticism give Washington what they need.
3. Minnesota Vikings (via trade-up w/ NE)
Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina
MIN receives: 1.3
NE receives: 1.11, 1.23, 4.108, 2025 1st
The Vikings are desperate to find their QB of the future. Drake Maye has everything required to become a star signal-caller. He is a great fit for Kevin O'Connell's offense.
4. Arizona Cardinals
Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State
No need to trade when arguably the best player in the entire draft is here for the taking. Marvin Harrison Jr. gives Kyler Murray a true WR1 to build the offensive passing game around. Do what's best for your QB1.
5. Los Angeles Chargers
Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
After trading Keenan Allen and releasing Mike Williams, WR help is indeed a major need for the Chargers. Whether they believe in a year-two jump from Quentin Johnston or not, adding Rome Odunze should not be dismissed. Odunze gives Justin Herbert a bonafide WR1-caliber talent to grow with for the foreseeable future.
6. New York Giants
J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan
Surprise—the Giants are not stuck with Daniel Jones much longer. J.J. McCarthy gives Brian Daboll a reset at the QB position with great physical tools and upside. Considering how much easier Jones' contract will be to move after the 2024 season, McCarthy can sit to start the season as Daboll works to develop him before taking over as QB1.
7. Tennessee Titans
Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame
The Titans' front office has upgraded their roster, but a remaining need is a left tackle to protect Will Levis' blindside. Joe Alt projects as a franchise-level LT to be the cornerstone of an offensive line.
8. Atlanta Falcons
Dallas Turner, EDGE, Alabama
The Falcons have a new head coach, offensive coordinator, quarterback, and additional weapons. They need a go-to edge rusher to help elevate their pass rush. Dallas Turner is one of the most explosive athletes in the defensive class. With their talented interior defensive linemen, Turner should have ample one-on-one opportunities vs. NFL OTs.
9. Chicago Bears
Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
D.J. Moore, Keenan Allen, Cole Kmet, and now Malik Nabers would be a young QB's dream supporting cast. Nabers has been compared to Moore but with more explosiveness and speed. Caleb Williams would be set up for a (potential) C.J. Stroud-esqe rookie campaign.
10. New York Jets
Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia
Aaron Rodgers has an improved offensive line with the Jets' offseason acquisitions. Now, let's add more talent around him. Brock Bowers is listed as a TE but plays more like a "Power Slot" receiver. Pairing him with Garrett Wilson and Co. bodes well for those J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!
11. New England Patriots (via trade-down w/ MIN)
Olu Fashanu, OT, Penn State
The Patriots' first pick after trading back is the freakish OT Olu Fashanu. Michael Onwenu re-signed and is expected to hold down the RT spot. Fashanu brings power, reactive athleticism, and an elite ceiling to become a top-five OT in the NFL.
12. Denver Broncos
Bo Nix, QB, Oregon
Reach? Possibly, but will Sean Payton be willing to wait until Round 3? I do not foresee that transpiring. Bo Nix would give him a QB with good arm talent, athleticism, and passing ability to run the Broncos offense as Payton designs and desires.
13. Las Vegas Raiders
Michael Penix Jr., QB, Washington
Aidan O'Connell and Gardner Minshew are the two top QBs on the Raiders' roster. I am not moved off the idea of adding a talented passer through the draft. Michael Penix Jr. is one of, if not the best pure passer in the class. His combination of arm talent and accuracy will help elevate this offense and its weapons.

14. New Orleans Saints
Taliese Fuaga, OT, Oregon State
The Saints have issues at both left and right tackle at this moment. Taliese Fuaga is a true RT but this gives them an immediate starter with Ryan Ramczyk nursing an injury and no timetable for his return. Fuaga brings a level of physicality this offensive line needs.
15. Indianapolis Colts
Cooper DeJean, CB, Iowa
The NFL draft is about fitting talented players with teams/schemes. Cooper DeJean is an outstanding fit with Gus Bradley's defensive scheme with the Colts. There is a need at CB and DeJean's athleticism, eye discipline in zone, and playmaking ability make this an ideal/near-perfect fit.
16. Seattle Seahawks
Jared Verse, EDGE, Florida State
Boye Mafe took a big step forward in 2023 with nine sacks. He needs a reliable running mate and Jared Verse brings that. In a division where defending the run is pivotal to success, Verse sets hard edges and can collapse the pocket routinely. Pairing him with Mafe gives Seattle a great 1-2 punch off the edge.
17. Jacksonville Jaguars
Quinyon Mitchell, CB, Toledo
WR or CB is the move here, in my opinion. Quinyon Mitchell projects as a day-one impact player for the Jaguars. Mitchell combines the NFL size, athleticism, coverage versatility, and ball skills needed in a No. 1 cornerback.
18. Cincinnati Bengals
Johnny Newton, IDL, Illinois
D.J. Reader left via free agency, leaving a void on the interior defensive line. Johnny Newton's run and pass-rush abilities will be reminiscent of Geno Atkins. Adding a disruptive defender to this front seven is a good step to improve their defense after a lackluster 2023.
19. Los Angeles Rams
Byron Murphy II, IDL, Texas
Aaron Donald is the greatest defensive player of all time. He is one of one. That said, you have to try and replace him by any means necessary. Kobie Turner had a strong rookie season. Pairing him with Byron Murphy II is as simple as two talented IDLs being better than one when it comes to replacing Donald. Murphy II is a three-down defender with a lot to offer.
20. Pittsburgh Steelers
Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia
Going back to the same well at the same position in back-to-back drafts is what the Steelers decide to do here. Amarius Mims is one of the more talented OTs in a loaded OT draft class. He has outstanding height, weight, and physical strength. Re-uniting him with former Bulldogs teammate, Broderick Jones, will give Wilson/Fields two high-caliber young OTs.
21. Miami Dolphins
Jackson Powers-Johnson, IOL, Oregon
With Connor Williams as a free agent, Jackson Powers-Johnson would be an easy long-term replacement. Powers-Johnson brings a level of physicality this offense needs. He would give Tua Tagovailoa a stalwart on the interior to step into the pocket confidently.
22. Philadelphia Eagles
Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama
James Bradberry did not have a good 2023 in the Eagles secondary. Darius Slay isn't getting any younger. Despite solid moments from rookie Kelee Ringo, adding talent is a must. Terrion Arnold is a coverage-versatile CB and one of the best, most fluid movers at the position. His twitch and toughness will be welcomed in Philadelphia.
23. New England Patriots (via trade-down w/ MIN)
Brian Thomas Jr., WR, LSU
The Patriots need an injection of talent at the WR position. Brian Thomas Jr. has one of the highest ceilings in the class with his size and elite athletic ability. If properly developed, Thomas Jr. has the makings of a strong WR1 for a team in desperate need of one.
24. Dallas Cowboys
Troy Fautanu, OT, Washington
Tyron Smith joins the Jets after an illustrious career in Dallas. This leaves a big void at the LT position. Troy Fautanu will pair with LG Tyler Smith and form a physical, tone-setting left side of the OL in Dallas. Fautanu has outstanding athleticism and strength. The run game should return to form with this selection.
25. Green Bay Packers
Graham Barton, IOL, Duke
Josh Myers is not the answer at the center. Graham Barton played OT, but his game is best suited for the interior. He can mirror and match rushers along with opening lanes in the run game. Jordan Love gets an upgrade on the IOL and the run game does as well.
26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Laiatu Latu, EDGE, UCLA
Shaq Barrett was released and joined the Miami Dolphins this offseason. Laiatu Latu is the most polished and refined pass rusher in the class. His ability to win with an array of maneuvers is what coaches will love the most.
27. Arizona Cardinals (via HOU)
Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama
Despite selecting two CBs in last year's draft, the need for a potential CB1 remains for the Cardinals. Kool-Aid McKinstry is believed to be the best pure man-to-man corner in the class. He is rarely beaten on film and the numbers are outstanding in coverage as well. This selection fills a huge need in the desert.
28. Buffalo Bills
Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas
No Stefon Diggs or Gabe Davis means wide receiver became an even bigger need for the Bills. Adonai Mitchell has the route-running, raw athleticism, and ball skills that Josh Allen would appreciate developing chemistry with.
29. Detroit Lions
Darius Robinson, EDGE, Missouri
Darius Robinson is physical and versatile with his alignment. He gives the Lions another relentless DL to pair with Aidan Hutchinson to face Caleb Williams, Jordan Love, and Drake Maye (from this mock draft).
30. Baltimore Ravens
Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State
Keon Coleman has a skill set the Ravens' offense is missing—a big-body possession receiver who excels at high-pointing the football. Coleman pairs well with Rashod Bateman, Zay Flowers, and Lamar Jackson's two talented TEs.
31. San Francisco 49ers
Kingsley Suamataia, OT, BYU
Kingsley Suamataia's pre-draft process has been successful overall. He can play both OT spots and the RT position needs upgrading for San Francisco. Suamataia and Trent Williams as bookend tackles will keep Brock Purdy clean in the pocket.
32. Kansas City Chiefs
Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas
Regardless of what happens with Rashee Rice, the Chiefs have a sizeable need at WR. Xavier Worthy's elite speed and burst will bring memories of Tyreek Hill to fans. Patrick Mahomes could reignite the deep passing game with Worthy out wide.

33. Carolina Panthers
Xavier Legette, WR, South Carolina
34. New England Patriots
Ladd McConkey, WR, Georgia
35. Arizona Cardinals
Chris Braswell, EDGE, Alabama
36. Washington Commanders
Kiran Amegadjie, OT, Yale
37. Los Angeles Chargers
Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma
38. Tennessee Titans
Braden Fiske, IDL, Florida State
39. Carolina Panthers (via NYG)
Chop Robinson, EDGE, Penn State
40. Washington Commanders (via CHI)
J'Tavion Sanders, TE, Texas
41. Green Bay Packers (via NYJ)
Jordan Morgan, OT, Arizona
42. Houston Texans (via MIN)
Brandon Dorlus, EDGE, Oregon
43. Atlanta Falcons
Roman Wilson, WR, Michigan
44. Las Vegas Raiders
Ricky Pearsall, WR, Florida
45. New Orleans Saints (via DEN)
Mike Sainristil, CB, Michigan
46. Indianapolis Colts
Ben Sinnott, TE, Kansas State
47. New York Giants (via SEA)
Ja'Lynn Polk, WR, Washington
48. Jacksonville Jaguars
Troy Franklin, WR, Oregon
49. Cincinnati Bengals
Jalen McMillan, WR, Washington
50. Philadelphia Eagles (via NO)
Cooper Beebe, IOL, Kansas State
51. Pittsburgh Steelers
Ennis Rakestraw Jr., CB, Missouri
52. Los Angeles Rams
Adisa Isaac, EDGE, Penn State
53. Philadelphia Eagles
Edgerrin Cooper, LB, Texas A&M
54. Cleveland Browns
Kris Jenkins, IDL, Michigan
55. Miami Dolphins
T.J. Tampa, CB, Iowa State
56. Dallas Cowboys
T'Vondre Sweat, IDL, Texas
57. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Christian Haynes, IOL, Connecticut
58. Green Bay Packers
Renardo Green, CB, Florida State
