The Senior Bowl is always a good checkpoint for NFL draft prospects as performing well in Mobile could mean a huge jump in draft stock. This year was no different.
Check out my post-Senior Bowl NFL mock draft to see what prospects elevated themselves into the first round.
2024 NFL Mock Draft
1. Washington Commanders (via trade-up w/ CHI)
Caleb Williams, QB, USC
There is new ownership, a new GM, a new HC, and now a new franchise QB. The Commanders trade up to pick No. 1 to signal to their fans that it is a brand new approach and bring Caleb Williams back home to the DMV area. They now have one of the best QB prospects of the last few decades to carry this franchise forward.
2. Chicago Bears (via trade-down w/ WSH)
Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State
After a trade down with the Commanders and additional draft picks, the Bears take the player many believe to be the best overall prospect in the class, Marvin Harrison Jr., to pair with D.J. Moore and Justin Fields. This gives the Bears a great offensive situation for 2024.
3. New England Patriots
Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina
The Patriots move on from Mac Jones and draft Drake Maye, a QB prospect who has high-level physical tools and could help transition this franchise into a new era.
4. Arizona Cardinals
Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
The Cardinals are comfortable with Kyler Murray and now need to go get some weapons. Malik Nabers is potentially the most explosive playmaker in this draft. The Murray-to-Nabers connection should be fun.
5. Los Angeles Chargers
Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
The Chargers are aging at the receiver position quickly. They need someone to grow with Justin Herbert, and Rome Odunze is that guy.
6. New York Giants
Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU
A dual-threat quarterback is exactly what Brian Daboll loves to work with. Jayden Daniels is an explosive runner and can throw a great deep ball. The Giants have a ton of vertical weapons, so this pick should be exciting and a great pairing for the Giants.
7. Tennessee Titans
Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame
If the Titans want to be able to throw the ball, they are going to need to be able to protect Will Levis. Joe Alt is a plug-and-play starter at LT and should pair great alongside Peter Skoronski.
8. Atlanta Falcons
Laiatu Latu, EDGE, UCLA
The Falcons have been seeking a great edge rusher and Laiatu Latu has the upside to be a consistent double-digit sack guy that can help elevate the Falcons' defense under Raheem Morris.
9. Chicago Bears
Olu Fashanu, OT, Penn State
The Bears are going all-in on giving Fields everything he needs. After drafting Harrison Jr. with their first pick, they take a blindside protector in Olu Fashanu—a player who has all-pro potential.
10. New York Jets
Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma
The Jets' 2024 season will begin and end with Aaron Rodgers being protected. With this pick, they take Tyler Guyton, a guy who can play the RT position at a high level.
11. Minnesota Vikings
Michael Penix Jr., QB, Washington
At the Senior Bowl, Michael Penix Jr. showed that he can work under center and that's exactly what the Vikings' front office needed to see. In Minnesota, Penix Jr. would have two high-level weapons to throw the ball to along with one of the best play-callers in the NFL.

12. Denver Broncos
J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan
It appears that Sean Payton wants a guy he can groom. Without having to trade up and sacrifice more draft capital, the Broncos stay at No. 12 and draft J.J. McCarthy. For everything negative that was said about McCarthy at Michigan, there is a high level of tools to work with that Payton will find intriguing.
13. Las Vegas Raiders
Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia
This pick is simply about taking the best player available for the Raiders. Brock Bowers is a flat-out playmaker who can play all over the field. Pairing Bowers with Davante Adams should give the Raiders a good 1-2 punch in the passing attack.
14. New Orleans Saints
Jared Verse, EDGE, Florida State
The Saints once again attempt to address the edge rusher position. Jared Verse is a first-step explosive player who can convert speed to power. This feels like the right player to come in and have a good impact for the Saints.
15. Indianapolis Colts
Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama
The Colts' pass coverage needs help, and with this pick, they take the first corner off the board. Terrion Arnold is a player who can play both man and zone at a high level.
16. Seattle Seahawks
Dallas Turner, EDGE, Alabama
The Seahawks appear to be rounding out one of the better rosters in the NFL. With this pick, the Seahawks add another edge rusher to the rotation, giving Seattle a good young core for the future.
17. Jacksonville Jaguars
Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State
Right when we thought Trevor Lawrence was going to launch into being an all-pro player, there was a step back. Some blame his offensive line, some blame his receivers. With this pick, the Jaguars decide to improve the WR room with a player who should be one of the best athletes in this entire draft.
18. Cincinnati Bengals
Taliese Fuaga, OT, Oregon State
This is simple: Protect Joe Burow. When Burrow is healthy, the Bengals are AFC contenders. They address the OT position and draft Taliese Fuaga.
19. Los Angeles Rams
Quinyon Mitchell, CB, Toledo
One of the Senior Bowl's best-performing players, Quinyon Mitchell, has earned a top-20 pick. The Rams have been drafting well and appear to be on their way to being NFC contenders again, so a player like Mitchell should help elevate this defense.
20. Pittsburgh Steelers
Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia
The Steelers struck gold with their 2023 first-round pick from Georgia, OT Broderick Jones. So with this pick, they go back to the same well and draft another OT from Georgia, Amarius Mims, to play RT.
21. Miami Dolphins
Kingsley Suamataia, OT, BYU
Kingsley Suamataia was another Senior Bowl standout who just verified what everyone knew. He is a high-level pass protector but also has a mean streak in the run game—exactly what the Dolphins need.
22. Philadelphia Eagles
Ennis Rakestraw Jr., CB, Missouri
The Eagles must address this secondary. Ennis Rakestraw Jr. is a smooth, fluid athlete who can also provide physicality in the run game.

23. Houston Texans (via CLE)
Byron Murphy II, IDL, Texas
The Texans drafting Byron Murphy II and pairing him with Will Anderson Jr. has the potential to become an exciting, disruptive pairing. Murphy II can become one of the most disruptive IDLs in the draft if put in the right situations.
24. Dallas Cowboys
JC Latham, OT, Alabama
Through all of the distractions going on with the team, the Cowboys decide to get back to the basics and draft an OT. JC Latham is a high-level RT who will remind some Cowboys fans of La'El Collins.
25. Green Bay Packers
Troy Fautanu, OT, Washington
The Packers need to address the offensive line situation, especially now that David Bakhtiari has played just 13 combined games over the last three seasons. Jordan Love has taken a great step forward, but it is always important to get better along the offensive line.
26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Xavier Legette, WR, South Carolina
The Buccaneers were one of the surprise teams of the 2023 NFL season. Hopefully, Baker Mayfield will be back next year and they can look to keep building. They address the WR position here and draft Xavier Legette. Legette is a versatile receiver who, at 6-foot-1 and 220 pounds, is a physical run-after-the-catch threat.
27. Arizona Cardinals (via HOU)
T'Vondre Sweat, IDL, Texas
The Cardinals address the trenches on the defensive side of the ball and draft a true run-stopper. T'Vondre Sweat will immediately give the Cardinals a presence of dominance in the run game.
28. Buffalo Bills
Troy Franklin, WR, Oregon
The Bills have had yet another disappointing ending to the season. I feel that the only way they take the next step is to go all in. Going all in means drafting an explosive playmaker to whom Josh Allen can throw vertical shots.
29. Detroit Lions
Cooper DeJean, CB, Iowa
This will be no shocker at all. The Lions need to address the secondary. Cooper DeJean is a corner with length and athleticism that can find the football. This is exactly the type of player that fits well with the Lions' culture.
30. Baltimore Ravens
Chop Robinson, EDGE, Penn State
This selection is about the upside. Chop Robinson potentially has the most explosive first step of any edge rusher. Adding Robinson to this vaunted Ravens defense should return some great dividends.
31. Kansas City Chiefs
Braden Fiske, DL, Florida State
The Chiefs' defense has been the unsung hero of this Super Bowl team. With this pick, they add another defensive piece with Braden Fiske, a player who has a great motor and is disruptive.
32. San Francisco 49ers
Jordan Morgan, OT, Arizona
The 49ers decide to address the offensive line by drafting Jordan Morgan. Morgan can play both guard and tackle.
