Film Analysis:
Behind an uber-athletic frame, Isaac TeSlaa showcases the ability to attack the football at a variety of depths. Quick twitch off the line of scrimmage allows him to quickly challenge leverage. His track background showcases in low get off and elongated gate. Won’t run by higher-level corners, but is creative at times in his stem and in tempoing routes.
With the ball in the air, TeSlaa holds a massive advantage due to his ability to contort his body and snatch passes away from his frame. Outstanding ball skills that ‘wow’ at times due to his ability to reel in passes with either hand (Ashland).
Concerns remain about creating separation against higher level competition, experience against press-man, and technique as a route-runner. Little wasted movement off line of scrimmage but will expose a high chest at times that corners will take advantage of. Will round-off routes instead of snapping off at the top of his stem.
Overall, TeSlaa touts a developing skill set that needs fine-tuning, but is someone whose ball skills and athleticism should earn him an opportunity moving forward.
