PROS: Good production despite an increase in competition as Liberty moved up from FCS to FBS this season. Biggest strength is his ability to high point passes. With his frame and body control, he can pluck the ball out of the air above the rim. Additionally, tracks the football well and can haul in passes in stride using active hand positioning. Undoubtedly has the size and athleticism combination to be a threat in the redzone. Possesses pretty sudden feet for his size, and moves laterally pretty well considering the length in his legs. Works well to release outside and get vertical when given more of a free release at the line of scrimmage.

Does an excellent job of latching onto defensive backs and beginning to drive them off the spot as a blocker. Length in his arms allows him to latch on and is difficult to disengage from. Physical player who doesn’t shy away from contact and blocks with a good motor.

CONS: Lacks variation on his release moves, choosing to footfire with a slight inside nod nearly every rep. Essentially no hand usage at the line of scrimmage results in him consistently getting jammed against press coverage. When able to release outside, his lack of hand usage still results in him being pushed off of his line. Essentially no ground gained on multiple reps. Ridden out of the play and towards the sideline against more physical cornerbacks.

Somewhat of an unnatural, crunched up stance limits his vertical explosiveness off the line of scrimmage. Has a habit of catching blocks rather than climbing into them can result in initial push back from defensive backs, closing the space on ball carriers.

As a route runner, won’t consistently stack defensive backs when given the opportunity to, which can result in catchpoints being disrupted. While he is able to high point passes at a nice clip, there are issues with his possession of the ball; occasional shaky hands and lacking the awareness to tuck the football away from the defensive back’s positioning. Not a natural route runner and can lack definition in cuts. Upright body composition makes for lack of explosiveness in his cuts.
