NAME: Tyree Jackson

SCHOOL: Buffalo

POSITION: Quarterback

CLASS: RS Junior

HT: 6-7

WT: 245 lbs

D.O.B.: Not Available

PROS: Is going to be an enticing upside player when his time comes to go through the draft process. Tyree Jackson has an all-world arm, showing little effort in big time throws. Has the ability to vertically push the ball from both a fixed/standing position and when throwing on the move, neither circumstance hindering velocity. Big, strong bodied player from the pocket who can be used as a weapon in power run concepts thanks to his athletic ability, but also a play extender capable of shrugging off sacks and withstanding tight spaces in the pocket. Has shown promising improvements, steadily becoming more secure with the football and increasing his passing efficiencies over his first 18 games at the college level.

CONS: Has yet to play a full season as the starter for the Bulls, so a full 12 or 13 game slate will go a long way in providing valuable reps. Spray chart is fairly erratic, will not always illustrate the needed accuracy to be a high volume passer working into the boundary or in the intermediate areas of the field. Footwork is a continued work in progress and could be a catalyst for improved throwing accuracy. Needs to prevent over-striding and sustain weight distribution on drop backs and through delivery.
