PROS: Made a lot of splash catches throughout the course of the season, including some clutch catches in contested situations in the red zone. Emerged as a scoring threat in 2017, logging nine touchdowns and with 6’4 frame Davis provides a natural mismatch as the field gets tighter to space out. Showcasing a fair level of burst off the line of scrimmage, Davis can press off coverage with speed before breaking off, he worked the post route effectively in games viewed and has the wingspan to pluck balls off the back shoulder if unable to separate on a vertical stem.

CONS: Has logged some egregious drops, consistency of hands is a huge concern and will need to be addressed if he’s to take the next step as a player. Will struggle to get disengaged from physical defenders who play over-top of routes, needs to add some strength to a wiry frame and continue to add more versatility to his game. Has never encountered a block he could make, takes poor angles and is not aggressive in efforts to flatten out and attempt to adjust on the fly. Is very streaky in results playing for contested catches, at times will pick up the flight of the ball late and fail to work into a favorable positioning before having to leap or elevate for the ball.
