PROS: Has an NFL frame and good power throughout. Builds a wide base in pass protection and has decent length, making him a tough player to run work around. Can anchor and re-anchor against bull rushes. Can generate some good momentum into the second level with a clear runway. Effective double-teamer.

.

CONS: Very heavy-footed. Lacks explosiveness out of his stance and arrives to contact point as a stationary object. Should not be expected to handle any reach block responsibilities; even down blocks stress the limits of his range. Seems to lack a pass protection plan out of his stance, over-reaction to every head fake and stutter step and often running himself right out of the play; outside-to-inside moves particularly do damage. Feet fall asleep on first contact and can be easily push-pulled, ragdolled, or swiped aside. Good pass protection reps come almost exclusively against the bull rush. Unaware on twists and stunts alike, often allowing pressures. Upright and easily displaced by defenders with awareness of leverage. Grip strength doesn’t particularly impress or save him in tight spots.
