PROS: Surprising straight-line acceleration, has the physical ability to get beyond linebackers and behind the second level quickly off release if not contested at the line. Has a nice sense of sitting down against zone coverage, will flip eyes back to the field and make himself available for his quarterback for easy targets. Base of support is present as a blocker and is a willing player from an in-line position. Effective in seal blocks and turn out efforts to wall a lane in the running game. Upside is present in both aspects of the position with additional growth and development in strength and route running abilities.

CONS: Underdeveloped in receiving aspects of the position. Prone to taking false steps coming out of stance, most notably from a two-point alignment flexed into the slot. Needs to become more effective in avoiding high traffic and getting a cleaner release up the field. Has yet to show precision and quickness at the top of route stems to break off a clean target against man to man coverage. Would like to see further dedication to using size to bump off defenders on route stems as well. Functional strength is a missing element as a blocker, neutering some promising traits as an in-line player.
