NAME: Michael Jordan

SCHOOL: Ohio State

POSITION: Offensive guard

CLASS: Junior

JERSEY: No. 73

HT: 6-6

WT: 310

D.O.B.: 1/25/1998

PROS: Michael Jordan has a great build to play on the interior, possessing a sturdy frame and well developed lower half. Shows good lower body power when able to drive feet off the snap and also when tasked with re-anchoring pass set against heavy hitters and power rushers. Capable of generating powerful push in the run game, overwhelming smaller defenders along the defensive interior. Has some noted quickness immediately out of his stance to get quickly into the body of a defender.

CONS: Jordan’s footwork is currently a mess. Far too many false steps, plus a base that narrows through contact tend to sour reps, ending with Jordan tripping over his own feet or sliding off a block and onto the ground. Needs to look for more work in pass protection, too often will survey an uncontested pocket instead of looking to pick off a pass rusher elsewhere or assist a teammate in protection. Hands don’t currently carry a whole lot of power and catches blows in pass protection too often to concede space in the pocket.
